If Mr. Hirai was reading this post and poll right now, what do you want KK-Eishindo to really get in gear and actually produce and release to the public?

Of if you're like Arthur Sherwood, simply design and build your own motors from scratch, as part of the loco chassis. Laughing

I'd love to know how he'd have built a diesel in 1:480.

If we're discussing engines; why not a BL2? It's a road switcher with a pretty wide body; definitely wider than an RS3. Uglier, but if it's buildable does it really matter?

Certainly a possibility, and I've always had a soft spot for these beasties. But... it does limit one to a handful of possible roadnames, as not many of them were built.

As for road switchers, I see it as more a gearbox than motor issue. 4mm is about 6', which is a road switcher hood. So what if the hood's a little over width - I'm old enough to remember the over-width hoods on Athearn GP9s. I figure that an acceptance of the practical is going to be part of working in T for a while.

Assuming we get a good running mechanism that's still an interurban, I figure to re-skin them as Chicago, North Shore & Milwaukee even if the length isn't correct.
