WOW I had never seen the Russian one as well, I thought this was only done by the New York Central _________________ D.J. (Now also Other David, since Mr. Smith was here first)

Someone in my club did one of these based on a Kato RDC in N. Someone has already done an etch for a shortened to fit RDC in T. You'd just need to make the nose and engines pod.

Yep, Mark Runyan. That article originally appeared in NSR.
Plus, Mike Skibbe who took one of the photos, is a T-Gauger. I talked to him at a train show this weekend where his club and mine had adjacent layouts. (Neither of us brought our T).
