I've been thinking over the past couple of days as Gonou gets to that stage where it will start to look like a layout as more scenery goes down.
For a change of pace, I fancy having a go at a US outline structure. I'm not going for anything huge like an ore dock or a grain elevator (though I did give it some thought.. )
In an issue of "How to build realistic layouts" by Kalmbach there are some pictures of a cylindrical coal tower in Medina NY that is decidedly unusual and would make an interesing structure and would stand about 1 3/4" tall. Its the kind of thing that appeals to me so I'll have a go.
Don't know quite what I'll do with it when I've finished though...

Sounds like a fun diversion. I'd love to see your results.
I desperately need a kick in the butt to get me back to work on my T layout. _________________ —David
