|
|
I just received an email from Hobby Search
I can now place an order for the Hankyu 9000 instead of being on the waiting list. No mention of how much longer it will be.
So the light at the end of the tunnel could well be the oncoming train...

I shall see what I can find out. So far I've had no word on the arrival of these cars. The fact that I have a sample (so to speak) suggests that they must be getting close. _________________ Darren,

Looks like there are 3 versions - but they are still on "reserve items" rather than on buy now ... twice the price of the 103's ! |

That's the thing.
I've been on the waiting list since the middle of last year.
They've now told me I can place my order. I couldn't do that before
So I've placed my order and paid for it...

The difference now, I believe, is that you can reserve again, reservation had been closed since probably only days after they came on the site. _________________ D.J. (Now also Other David, since Mr. Smith was here first)

I think this is a change.
The delivery date on one of the Hankyu 9000 set types is listed as Jun. A change from December I believe.

Oh well. Got two sets on order anyway. We'll see what turns up (and when)! |

Don't forget to post some pix I probably won't even get to ORDER ONE for a VERY long time...
(busy w/ other trains: just spent e.o.m.m. on Tyco trains <was planning to wait for flex, but gave in to temptation >) _________________ D.J. (Now also Other David, since Mr. Smith was here first)
