Anyone know of any cheaper places than RadioShack to get one from? (in the US of course)
RadioShack are selling a fixed 4.5V AC Adapter for $30 - at that price its cheaper to buy one from Hobby world in Japan.
They also have an adjustable one (3-12V) for $19 thats still more expensive than the one at hobbyworld.
Anyone have a local electrical hobby shop or internet link for a discount electrical supplier where I might find one?

If you have an old/defunct cell phone laying around, take a peek at the wall charger. They typically have a 5v output. Adding a 1k resistor (rough estimate) would bring the voltage slightly below 4.5v. _________________ Michael
