Is there a practical maximum track length for the current range of T gauge trains?
I was wondering whether the increased resistance of 10+ metres of track would slows things down noticeably. Maybe I'm worrying about nothing - either way, I figured someone here would know the answer :) |

Not necessarily. Does anyone actually have 10m of track yet?
I don't see it being a problem. Extra power feeds may help, but once the flex track is available, a metre of rail won't have joins every 60mm. So that should make it easier too. _________________ Darren,

I'll need to do some research on the conductivity of 40 thou steel, as compared to nickel--I imagine the steel ought to be better. And the joiners are gold-plated, so they should not contribute much resistance. _________________ —David
