I've begun a briefcase layout in both T and Z. I will use pink insulation as the base. I was wondering what ya'll might recommend to stick the buildings and such down (considering this layout will spend plenty of time at 90, and even 180, degrees of normal(. Thanks!

BTW, I have nearly every item from Eishindos line now. I am very impressed at the quality and value. The bicycles are microscopic, but still have color. I wish an American company would market this stuff in Z Sad

Congrats on your new endeavors--please keep us posted.

As for attaching buildings, if you're going to be attaching them directly to raw foam, then it needs to be a foam-friendly process. Also, are they to be attached permanently, or do you want them removable?

If permanent, I'd use either Liquid Nails for Foam Projects, PowerGrab, or some other foam-friendly construction adhesive. Many of these products come in squeeze tubes, available at hardware or home improvement stores. If removable, I might suggest using Velcro.

Thanks for your guidance! I didn't even consider making them removable, but that's an interesting angle.

I am an amateur, so prepare to be underwhelmed.

We all start somewhere. Asking questions is a great way to get going with a minimum of problems--but even problems provide valuable learning.

As for removable structures, it allows for less troublesome layout maintenance, as well as making modifications easier.
