KK Eishindo inform me that their 2nd generation of models will be designed so that enthusiasts can modify them to their desired trains. Chassis and bogies will be made available separately at that time.
This is surely welcome news to those who would like to make their own models. _________________ Darren,

Epic win! I was afraid Eishindo was slacking a bit about with their development. I'm sure most (serious) T-Gauge modellers welcome this news with great enthusiasm.
Why 'serious' in parenteses? 'Cause I have a feeling many people who bought T-Gaue, just bought it because of the novelty and exccentricy of it. _________________ Tree Gauge? Three Gauge? Tea Gauge? Letīs just T this place up! |

Perhaps they mean the Hankyu 9000 unit?
Which might be December...

I think the Hankyu 9000 is still the 1st generation. I don't think they can develop a new generation, put it in production and distribute the whole lot within a month... Even though they are Japanese. _________________ Tree Gauge? Three Gauge? Tea Gauge? Letīs just T this place up! |

They didn't tell me that much. And considering that many other items have been released well after their projected release date, I think it just means we should exercise our patience. It will happen when they are good and ready.
I'm sure we would all prefer them to take their time and get it right than rush poorly-performing models to release. Yes? _________________ Darren,

Makes me wish that the Z-scale builders could get their act together like Big-E can. _________________ Do not feed the densha. |
