Did a quick test etch just to see what this might look like. The wheelbase is pretty close to the stock chassis and the body is full prototype length.
A little boring right now, but maybe one day will look like this:
These could run alone or pulling a car or two.
This is a later version with front & back skirts along with fancy stripes. |

Does look good. I have a feeling that an Australian Doodlebug isn't going to be all that far away. _________________ Darren,

Nice work Chris, it looks pretty good! It looks like you have found your prototype.
NP had some of those too! The NP ones had red and white stripes on the front, and a green body. _________________ -Robert Ray |

Excellent. Although I just discovered T-gauge, the Doodlebug seems a natural for this tiny scale.
Can't wait to get my newly ordered T-gauge set. |
