Looking good, however one query about the tunnel...
Given the propensity of T Gauge stock to come off the tracks on a regular basis; how accessible are your tunnels for this situation? You can guarantee the train will derail in the most inconvenient place! |

The left side and back of the layout will be open, so there will be full access to the length of the tunnel.
Having said that, I had the layout running for about an hour at a friend's house Wednesday night, and it never derailed. Didn't stall, either--it performed like a champ. _________________ —David

I presume rails will need to be cleaned from time to time like the other scales? Will you still be able to fit an eraser in the tunnel?
Or will T-scalers have to devise motorized rail cleaners? |

Oh, the track needs to be cleaned quite regularly. I'm using alcohol on a paper towel for that, which imposes no trouble in the tunnels. _________________ —David

I'm remembering that old Tyco sectional track with steel rails. Does the t-gauge rail rust easily? |
