Could someone who has one of the Eishindo sets give me a rough idea of the wheelset dimensions: back-to-back, flange depth etc?

I'm trying to rough up a chassis for my Nn18 tram and it'd be good to get the dimensions as close as I can.

regards

I suggest someone make a permanent Technical FAQ section with these dimensions, along with others such as overall width of the body, and critical dimensions of the motor/drive.

I can't do that in this freebie forum, but I do already have a permanent T Gauge website started, and I have put them all there.

Thanks, Tony. That's about as good as it gets.

Hmmm. Thinking. ('s what I do well)

Excellent resource David! Great to have all the dimensions in one spot Very Happy One dimension I didn't see (and the only one) is the height of the railhead to the top of the mechanism

David,
I hope you didn't mind me copying from your website, I just didn't think about copyright restrictions.
My apologies if I was out of order

Not to worry! It's not the kind of thing that I would consider proprietary.

David,
Question Please could you add:
Back-to-back, Flange thickness, Tread width, Overall wheel width, Axle gear diameter,
to the tech. page on your T site?

Thanks,

Sam K. Smile

All:

The technical FAQ has been expanded with additional dimensions, and now includes reference drawings.

The updated specs page looks good. Perhaps you can add some remarks regarding what happens to minimum radius when the cars are lenthened or shortened.

I'm especially curious what the minimum radius would be for a car shortened to its minimum length (1" truck centers IIRC).

More specs are planned.

As for minimum operating radius, that would have to wait until I did some more track-laying.
