Thanks, Dan! I've given most of the layout's main features names based on very similar real places in the area being modeled. Details: http://1-450.blogspot.com/2008/10/research.html

I prefer the variation. More strait-aways. Better photo ops!

Win win!

Yikes, and I haven't really even gotten started on it yet.

But... I did finish the big bridge in the foreground.

Weathering is slightly different in T. You can't just slop it on like you often can in larger scales. This weathering on the bridge piers had to be dry-brushed on with a fan brush, and blended with chalk.

Amazing work! Hard to believe those girders are only 1/4" high.

I've seen a number of bridges (and other structures) like these in various Japanese photos. They all look like RP stuff.

That would be in line with the stacked lines on the pieces, although on the concrete piers they don't look bad.

For those who would like to see it running, here's the maiden run of the White Haven Jct.

Raw foam and foamboard acts like a sounding board, like a drumhead. Once the board is covered with scenery, it will become quiet.

Ha - that makes two of us!

I'm going to have to revisit all my N stuff now in order to keep it up to snuff.

...and buy some rustall...

Nice, nice work David. (standing with slow deliberate clap)

P.S. (Pity you dont allow comments on your blog.)

Thank you, thank you.

As to blog comments, when I launched the blog I initially had them turned off. Since then I attempted to turn them back on. But Blogger has some bugs, and one of them is that reinstating comments doesn't always work. Out of my four blogs, it only worked on one (the one where I would probably never get any comments, naturally).
