|
|
Hey all,
I've been thinking of modeling a Bombardier LRC train in T, and was wondering if the 8.5mm height is too small for the current T gauge mechanism
I was just wndering if I'd be able to get the overall height from the rail tro the top of the main gear and overall width of the mechanism including gearbox.
Thanks for any info
Regards,
Dan Mackellar |

Without having a unit on hand to measure, from memory you should be OK. The space above the main drive gear is only taken up by the power strips, which can be replaced with hard wiring. As for the gearbox width, you'll need at least some clearance for the ends of the gear shafts, which protrude through holes in the gearbox sides. _________________ —David
