You need any more catenary? I've got a bunch I'll never use. _________________ —David

The problem with the straight tracks is you only get 7 inches worth in a package, and to build a decent small layout, most people would like to think in terms of getting 10 feet of straight track.
I tried to purchase 20 packs of straights, which is just under 12 feet of straight track, but only got 5 packs in my order because they were sold out.
They have not yet been restocked at Hobby Search or Hobby World, and I have been checking both shops, as well as Plaza Japan every day. I woke up late yesterday, and was only able to snag the last 13 packs. As is is, that is very expensive, costing me $87 total for 7.5 feet of track.
That track, along with all the other I have acquired so far, will still only allow me to build a single loop on my 2'x4' layout.

Wait just a while longer... in addition to flex, they're releasing longer straight sections. I believe they won't be roadbed track, so you'd have to ballast it yourself... which might not be such a bad thing. _________________ —David

That will be a good thing. I can always sell the first layout I build, or pull up the tracks and rebuild it. _________________ -Robert Ray |

I seen that Plaza Japan is restocked with straight track again today. I am not ordering more, until I see how many of the 20 packs I ordered from Hobby Search I am getting. They take a few days. _________________ -Robert Ray |
