The iceberg that has stood in for the lighthouse island in previous photos has gone. To be replaced by this


Just piece of expanded foam cut to size and treated the same as the rest of the scenery on the layout.
A bit more to do like bed the lighthouse in and then add the light.

looks great Ian Very Happy being an island, are you going to model a small jetty & "tinny" boat tied up to it?, as the lighthouse keeper would need access. another thing came to mind, a pathway up to the lighthouse, even with a rope or steel handrail & possible a figure walking half way up Smile my mind floods with mini scenes, looks like fun.

Such things can be seen in some of the prototype photographs...
