Radio Shack has an AC adaptor on closeout sale.

It's a dedicated 4.5 volt 1600mA unit.

Part # 273-1760

You will need a "B" type tip (Part # 273-1705) and to install it "Tip Positive"

By Cheap I mean $3.97 tip included. (Alone the tip is $6.50!)

Yes, it works fine and with a bit of rewiring to have more than one output plug would probably run two power packs. (But at this price it would cost more for the parts than for a second adaptor.)

Good Hunting! Very Happy
