As a way of filling in part of a hot Sydney afternoon I created a T gauge library for the Railmodeller track planning software (only for the Mac). The library contains three pieces: 60 mm straight; 120 mm 30 degree curve and 132.5 mm 30 degree curve. It seems to work OK....

If anyone would like a copy please drop me a message and I'll send you the library file - it's only 4k.

Edit: I've assumed that the total track width, including roadbed, is 8 mm.

The roadbed is 12.5 mm. When you have the two radii, they abut.

For me it was a cold Chicago afternoon, but I've done something similar with XTrkCad. The param file I did includes fractional length straights and curves, as well as 132.5mm radius 'snap-switch' type turnouts. All this is purely speculation, but it allows me to play with layout design. I've also applied patches to the scale file so that 1/450 is recognized. I'm intending to add NMRA style turnouts too, but I have to convert the measurements. I haven't pushed the changes back to XTrkCad yet, but if anyone is interested, I'll email them.
