As detailed in todays blog entry http://more-t-please.blogspot.com/
Last night I lost a spring whilst changing out the couplers on one of my 103 sets.
Can anyone suggest a US supplier of these tiny things?

The same thing happened to me twice. The first time the tiny coupler and the tiny, tiny spring went off to never-never land. I was able to recover them the second time. One of my four-car trains is now a three-car train. I think we will just have to wait for Eishindo, Ltd. start supplying spare parts. They never answer my email enquiries.

hello guys!
Course, the same happend to me.
The springs and couplers jump in all directions and like carpets.
I have a defect disassembled car/ waggon.
Leftover are the follwing springs and coupler :
2 springs for bogies
1 spring for couplers
1 coupler without spring
If you want a spring or coupler, pls. send me a message.

Beh, the same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I solved the problem with some rubber glue. It's secure and flexible enough for a spring replacement.
I feel your pain. _________________ Tree Gauge? Three Gauge? Tea Gauge? Letīs just T this place up! |

One of my couplers fell out too. Twisted in a derailment. I found the coupler, but not the spring. Fortunately it works okay (stays coupled) without the spring, but I have to line it up by hand. Just like the real thing.
I notice that Eishindo provide spare pantographs, and you end up with a collection of pantograph bending-tools with each train you buy and so on. Even spare couplings - but no spare springs.
I can make the suggestion I suppose. But hopefully they'll be available as a spare part soon. _________________ Darren,

One thing that you can do to prevent spring loss is to thread a piece of thread through the spring before removing it. You only need to capture a few of the spring coils. _________________ You don't stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing. |
