Here is the trackplan I have worked out:

Layout size is 60cm x 120cm, or 2' x 4'. There is a river down the center, and the tan parts represent hills.

The green tracks are regular 60mm straight tracks, with the black ones on bridges. The blue is 120mm radius and the red ones are 132.5mm radius.

The layout will feature on continuous running up and over loop, and one point to point line for auto reversing operation.

I have not decided on any structures yet, however I want 5 train stations, wherever there are long green straight track sections. Very Happy

-Robert

Bob,

Looks great, even from here. Going by what you created in the past, I am sure it will be a really neat layout. What style bridges? Tunnels?

Looks like a well thought-out layout, Robert. I'm not yet completely decided on whether I would do a simple loop layout or one which would combine end-to-end and continuous running, though. It would, however, be a godsend if Eishindo did release those points which they recently showcased, because then I could really combine both kinds of operation as I wished. Well, I'm in no rush and am prepared to wait what the new year will bring in T gauge Smile .

But in any case, please do keep us updated on your project!

Right then. Get building! Wink
Nice trackplan, plenty of opportunity for scenic development and with the section for automatic reversing also. You'll be able to show off all the aspects of T gauge modelling

Another question, Robert: Which software did you use to create this track plan?

I just drew it up in Corel Draw. First I made the track pieces available , then just played with placement.

This is what I did, I rotated each piece 30 degrees, so all angles were covered. Then I played paper dolls.

If you have Autocad, Corel Draw, or Adobe Illustrator, I can export them for you.

Ordinarily I'd have done exactly the same. But for some reason I just decided one day to plop all of the track sections on the kitchen table and play around with them until I came up with a plan. It was a heck of a lot of fun, and it took me back to some of my earliest days in model railroading.

When I was done, I took a photograph from directly overhead, imported it into Corel Draw, and traced over it. Kind of backwards, but it did the job.

This layout is a good idea of what I'd like to do. a display loop with a branch. What's your locale Robert? Pacific Northwest? Wink
