I was just curious.
It seems to me that at times demand outstrips supply when it comes to T gauge items. So people must be buying it.
Are they just building tiny layouts like those illustrated on the Eishindo website or are any of them like us "pushing the envelope" by scratchbuilding items wether it be loco's, coaches, freight stock or even scenic items.
I can't think that I've seen anything anywhere to suggest that anyone is taking our approach.

Actually, the other day I was wondering when/if we'd eventually attract a modeler or two from Japan to this forum. It would be interesting to read their thoughts on the possibilities of T from their perspective.
The few videos on YouTube from Japan don't hint at any modifications.
I wonder what Eishindo may think of our desire for steam outline, freight cars and equipment of European/North American design. It might appear to them we're not happy with what they've given us. |

In regards to Japanese prototypes w/T, one of my first thoughts was a 3 truck Electric, possibly an EF81 Be interesting to see more from Japan, definitely. Can't wait to see the first steam locomotive or Shinkansen in T _________________ Regards,

Dan:
I'm not seeing an image there and when I put the URL in the address bar I get a message that it is a bad link.
As for the Shinkansen I'd love to be able to produce one of them. Such a consist would be perfect for the high speeds of the trains available _________________ I CAN see how cool this stuff is!!!

I hope they'll instead realize that, with all of our discussion of making new things, we're all excited at having T Gauge, and they'll be encouraged to make more. _________________ —David
