Give that man the ashes!
Yep. Petrol bowser. Petrol pump, gas pump, call it what you will.
I was testing out the idea last night to see if it was viable to make them. It wasn't too difficult a task.
Some lengths of Styrene strip and some offcuts of nichrome wire for the hoses.
I'll fine tune the idea before I start work on the petrol station this weekend

Not while it remains a rumour...
It just started off to see if I could do it. It looks like I can. The drawing of the attached store looks pretty much like what I was planning anyway. I'msure I could fit an interior in mine too...

I don't know when to stop I really don't.
Its going to get me into trouble.
Here are the elements for the Petrol Station.
Left to right - a pump (if you can see it) I've made 10 to this point and when I get 4 good finished ones I'll stop.
the canopy. I was pacing out the one at my local gas station this morning making sure I had the right sort of size.
the convenience store. I have to get rid of that huge glass frontage or I'll have to model the interior...

WOW What's next, giant fuel tanker trucks ?
...Oops, perhaps I should stop giving you ideas, or you'll find yourself closer and closer to staying up 'til 3 AM on a daily basis. ...
...or should I give in to my evil side, giving you my all ideas of which since I lack any basic skill (ponders away to mope... ) I should somewhat selfishly feed you to turn into extraordinarily microscopic feats? _________________ D.J. (Now also Other David, since Mr. Smith was here first)

You don't need a full interior...just the impression of one. _________________ Brian Austin |

Yep. Something that looks like shelves and a check out. I've got more than enough people to shop in there

One of the architectural-model supply companies might have a tank truck. _________________ Brian Austin |

Methinks there's a fuel tanker in some of the airport vehicles sets that are about. Herpa "wings" range is it?

Yes indeed. Some issues... they're 1:500; they're highly stylized; and they look to be specific to airports, as opposed to being highway tankers...
