Having just buckled one of the pcb connectors taking power to the track, I'm wondering:
a. is it possible to get replacement connector leads on their own
b. has anyone tried soldering wires directly onto the track yet?
Cheers

I am not sure about the rails, but you can solder to the underside of the rail joiners.

Which also negates the need for the 'special' track with the rails exposed to the connector clip and an ugly hole in the ballast!
Good idea, Thanks!

Presumably you could solder to the steel-alloy rails, but it's way easier to use Robert's suggestion and solder to the joiners, which are gold-plated. _________________ —David
