Good Grief! That is definitely impressive. 1/700 - this would be about 2mm gauge. A 44 Tonner and an SP class M mogul. Powering that would be next to impossible. T-sized wheels with dummy sideframes would seem the way to go if one was to power it. Possibly that 50' boxcar would be the best candidate for powering.
Tn3 Anyone??

Exactly. I think T is going to be the limits seeing there were so many days when HO tried my nerves. _________________ Do not feed the densha. |

Well, that is the smallest REAL modeling I have seen, with possible exception to this:

Yeah, I'd hate modeling things that could possibly be inhaled. I'm still concerned about accidentally ingesting T-scale figures or bicycles. _________________ Do not feed the densha. |

A frequently-seen joke... which isn't a joke. I've made the mistake of just blowing a puff of air to remove some dust, and completely derailing a Z scale train. Although in T, the powered cars have magnetic wheels strong enough that the train will run upside-down... _________________ —David

Haven't done that yet with my Z-gauge, but then again my cat may decide to go after the Z (or T scale) trains while running. Doubt magnetic wheels are safe from neko attack. _________________ Do not feed the densha. |

More tiny models...Here's a 1:1000 scale motorized car made as an R&D project by DENSO.
From the Denso website:
"In 1995, the Guinness Book of Records awarded a World Record Certificate to Nippondenso Co., Ltd. (now DENSO Corporation) for developing the world's smallest motorized car. The DENSO Micro-Car is a miniature version of Toyota's first passenger car, the 1936 Model AA sedan. Its size is amazing: 1/1000th the size of the actual car or about the size of a grain of rice. It's powered by a 0.67 mm-sized magnetic-type working motor. The DENSO Micro-Car was created as an R&D project to push the company's capabilities in ultra-precision machining and semi-conductor processing technologies."

This page gives a little info regarding the metal body shell

Maybe these guys will do a 1:900 scale motorized train....
