I believe once points become availabe we will be seeing a variety of layouts. Im a big fan of country branch lines so i will eagerly await the arrival of points to enable me to model these. This is a very nice layout which doesnt model too much along the borders of the board. Will be good to see scenery. _________________ Victorian T Gauge Blog

Your layout is simply fantastic familykjp. It will be very hard to make a layout as convincing and realistic. Keep up the great work. _________________ -Robert Ray |

I uploaded train running TEST video of my layout on Youtube .
http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=3BV8tJQr_oM
I applied " Cleaning materials LOCO "to a chassis and tracks in extremely a very small amount by toothpick in a collection of electric inclination after having wiped a track with a tissue paper and came to run smoothly.
Thank you |

Interesting use of an N scale European cement hopper in the foreground of the opening scene. I didn't notice it the first time I watched the video, but it stood out to me this time. _________________ Darren,

HO? I'd better take another look. Must be the first time I've got the scale wrong from a photo. Everything looks so big compared to T. _________________ Darren,

T is really small. HO cement hopper train becomes 1/450 large silo.
Photo is HO cement hopper , N T orange 103.

Perhaps I was fooled by it appearing smaller without the underframe. I had one of those cement hoppers in HO (Lima) as a child and also the same one in N scale years later (also by Lima). At first I thought it was a Lima model, but I realised that it wasn't when I looked closer. Yet I didn't recognise that it was HO. I looked at the video again and can see now that it is HO.
If it had been N, it would be the same length as the wagon in this photo
So clearly, I was wrong. _________________ Darren,

Nice work familykjp:
It is interesting to see that modellers are finding uses in T gauge for items from the larger model railway scales

Thank you trainspotter-usa:
1/700 scale huge hangers are used as 1/450 warehouse.

Hi familykjp. I was wondering, this Cleaning materials LOCO that you mentioned, did you buy it here in Tokyo? I would like to make my train run smoother but then I have no idea what to apply to it. |
